Bio:

Tessa Sutton is a visual artist, arts administrator and teacher residing in Brooklyn, New York. She has attended artist residencies and a teaching workshop in Italy as well as a cultural art exchange in South Africa. She holds a BA in history from Grinnell College and an MFA in painting and drawing from the California College of the Arts. In addition to exhibiting in the Bay Area, Los Angeles, New Mexico and Alaska, she has shown work in Denmark and Italy. She has taught painting and drawing to adults and children in public schools and a museum, and has worked as an education and drawing tutor in a women's correctional facility. She works in higher education.
